Synopsis

Lucy goes to Yeti school to find her instrument.

Description

In the hopes of finding her instrument before the end of Yeti Confetti, Lucy goes off to Yeti school. However, she isn't happy to know that all her classmates were the Yums she tried to raise with Fife in The Yum Whisperer. Ms. Clarinet tells the class that once someone's instrument is found, they shall know their instrument family, and that the class will be performing a carol concert at night for the elder Yetis. From there, each Yum finds their instrument during the various activities they do in class, Tuba, Slide Whistle, Tambourine, and then Oboe, leaving Lucy as the only one that has yet to discover her own. In an act of desperation, she convinces Ms. Clarinet and the Yums to do an unorthodox method hoping that it would work. It doesn't, putting the whole class behind schedule for the caroling. Lucy tells them to go rehearse without her while she continues to try and find hers.

After trying many times, Lucy's instrument is still unknown. Fife comes in to look for the Yums, and Lucy dejectedly explains that they already found their instruments and left. She then claps her hands together, Fife being surprised by the sound since he cannot make it due to his soft paws. He takes her outside and she is able to join the rest of the class in the carol concert, though Ms. Clarinet has some doubts with her only clapping. The concert starts out rough, so she tells Lucy to not clap, and it is able to pick up from there. Everyone applauds, but Lucy walks away from the scene and sings about feeling sad that she found neither her instrument nor her instrument family. Oscar and Hedgehog approach her, proud of her despite what happened. She tells them her woes, and they comfort her. Together, they all walk to get Lucy a snow cone before going back home.
