Synopsis
Oscar and Hedgehog must work with the witches to cure Alice's camp-threatening illness.
Description
The episode starts with a brief flashback of the "Great Strep Throat Volcano of '72" incident before cutting back to the present day. Susie and Betsy are walking around the island, Pepper informs them that Alice is late to tetherball practice as Alice can be heard sneezing. The witches pay her a visit and see their friend bedridden while nearly everything and everyone in the cabin seeming to be under the weather because of Alice's illness. She tries to hide it but fails. In order to prevent it from spreading to the entire island, Betsy and Susie set off to make a get-well-soon potion as a cure.
The two begin gathering ingredients, but their methods are quick to contrast with one another. Susie goes fast and carelessly while Betsy is meticulous and slow, causing them to butt heads about how they should go about this and remind each other of what had happened after the incident of '72. This escalates further when incorporating the ingredients together. As a compromise, they go to find Oscar and Hedgehog to help progress go quicker, right by a tree Hedgehog just carved to mark their friendship. A spell is cast on them both to make Oscar Susie's loyal assistant, and Hedgehog for Betsy. The sickness begins to spread across parts of the island. With more hands, the potion is able to be completed, Alice drinks it, and everything seems to go back to normal.
The two witches proceed to leave, with Susie ordering Oscar and Hedgehog to clean up the dancing tissues to prevent Alice from catching the same ailment twice. However, still under the spell, they argue about which witch is better and accidentally get Alice sick again, amplifying the effects twofold and spreading even faster. Susie and Betsy get mad at the two for bickering and letting it happen before a magic fever dream is conjured. Betsy and Susie now understand why the other does things the way they do. They trap Hedgehog and Oscar in a big bubble until they can get along again, making a new potion on their own. However, the final ingredient that they need, a misshapen peanut, is trapped in the bubble too. All around the island, multiple fever dreams spawn as smoke surrounds Summer Camp Island's tallest mountain. Together, the two witches roll the bubble and fortunately come across the tree, reminding the other two that they are BFFs, breaking the spell. Susie and Betsy are able to retrieve the last ingredient and give Alice the new potion, saving the island.
