Trivia

• As stated by Julia Pott on her slow motion multitasking substack¹, this episode is a fictionalised retelling of writer Sarah Lloyd's own experiences inventing, producing, marketing, and distributing the original Tortilla Towel. In keeping with this, the aliens' tortilla towel advertisement in this episode is an animated recreation of the original live action Tortilla Towel promotional video.²

Continuity

• It is revealed that Dr. P. Shark does callisthenics so that he isn't depressed.
• It is revealed that Mortimer firmly rejects all travelling salesmen who pass by his house to advertise products.
